Helen Raij works with the Agriculture and Food Security (AFS) and Innovation, Technology and Society (ITS) based at IDRC'S Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean (Montevideo). Ms Raij interests are in the area of environment and natural resources management, and the use of planning, monitoring and evaluation tools in research projects. Ms Raij graduated as Agronomist from the Universidad de la Republica, Uruguay, and obtained a MSc in Food Engineering and Biotechnology at the Israel Institute of Technology (Technion), Haifa, Israel.   She has extensive experience in technical and management support to projects, including monitoring and evaluation activities.
