IDRC in Venezuela

IDRC began supporting research in Venezuela more than 30 years ago. Much of the activity supported occurred in the 1980s. The quality and effectiveness of education, from primary to post-secondary training, were key issues in that decade, as were business and scientific development.

Today, IDRC facilitates the participation of Venezuelan researchers and policy-makers in regional and global networks. The country is part of the IDRC-supported Network of E-Government Leaders in Latin America and the Caribbean (Red GEALC).
