Applying for Funding

The Community-Based Natural Resource Management (CBNRM) Program Initiative (PI) supports research projects that generate innovations with communities to manage their natural resources sustainably in coastal, semi-arid & arid, and upland areas of South and Southeast Asia .

To apply for funding it is suggested that researchers thoroughly review the background information on the CBNRM PI website. If you feel that your project is compatible with the Initiative's objectives you should follow the process on How to Approach IDRC for Funding. It is advised that you also consult one of the relevant CBNRM Program Officers at an early stage to discuss your proposal.
